Alas poor mag knits
I know this is a bit late, but I guess I’ve only just realised the ramifications of no more mag knits.
the patterns are gone, i wish there had been some warning as there were some i was eyeing off, but hadn’t downloaded.. and now they are gone….. sob
If I could remember what they were that would be ok but I can’t.

Mothers Day
its mothers day next weekend, and i was knitting mum some socks, they were looking nice and i thought i might even be able to get them done in time.
I then asked mum what she would like…. the answer is a jumper….
So i guess the socks will have to wait, they could maybe be a half birthday gift.
sigh, i shouldn’t have asked.
I think I am going to use the pattern from knitting fool, for the top down raglan.

long time no chat….
Well, what have I been up to during the month just gone?
I finished my scrap yarn hoodie and got a zipper. I am very pleased with it. I had a few attempts at hand sewing in the zip but in the end i just tacked the front closed pinned in the zip and machine sewed it in. I don’t have any pictures of it in its finished state because…
I finished it waited two weeks for a zip, sewed the zip in, washed and dried it, put it in to go out in and then fell over in the muddy mess that is our front yard, you can guess just how pleased I was about that!
I knitted two pairs of booties (how impressed does the cat look).
I knitted a beanie for a friend, I realised what a quick knit this was, when i did all but 2 rows of it in my lunch hour at work.
I flashed my stash for ravelry.
I have been super tired and having some problems with my wrists, which has slowed my progress on everything.
But I am making a commitment to getting back to my blogging
