Finito!!!
The sock is finished!!! I ripped back the finished sock, back to where the increases should have been and I got both of the finished by the 29th!! yay!
I’m still golden for the stash along, now what for March…

As I may have mentioned one of my goals for the stash-along was to complete the other Lego sock this month, and I may have also mentioned I have been doing everything but knit that sock!
Last night I managed to finish the gusset increases and turn the heal, so now I only have the leg to go. I forgot to do the increases in the leg of the last one, so I’m trying to work out what to do this time. If I put the increases in then I should rip the other one back and include the increases in that one also, sigh.
I hate socks!! but i must finish this one (and in fact 2 other pairs), I think the finishing is good for my soul even if I don’t like it. This sock must be finished this week so at least the end is in sight!

ready, set, Cast on
Yes, I know this is not what I should be doing, but my desire not to knit the sock that i should be knitting that I keep casting on new things, I have cast on a baby jacket, using some rare yarns in a gorgeous amethyst colour, Also cast on a Jacket for myself.
I really must get these socks done, it was my stash-along goal for Feb, and I would like to achieve it.
I had a nice weekend, had coffee, watched TV, did some knitting, had a bunch of friends over for a BBQ on Sunday.
But I am so tired today and my throat hurts, trying to work out if i should go home to bed…

Fetching Fetchings
Here are my fetchings, yes i know this is not knitting I am ment to be doing, i think I may have to give up on the stashalong as i cant seem to get the progects I intend to knit finished but instead start new things, which is ok because I’m still knitting from the stash.
For these I used a ball of Tofutsies, I used it 3 strands at a time to get gauge, i am quite happy with them but the yarn lost quite a bit of dye when i soaked them.
They have now been posted to chilly Scotland

I’ve got the bug
I’ve got the bug again, with the knitting! Yay.
I have cast on a pair of fetchings for my sister and am just loving the knitting! I went to the library yesterday and borrowed a heap of knitting books, our public library has really increased its knitting section, which is great.
I am on a deadline for the fetchings so i happily was knitting away at a bbq i went to yesterday, ahhhh the knitting bug is back and I am pleased.
Back to the fetchings….

many things for feet
Wow what a great weekend!
My DH was in fact supportive of the knitting, I don’t know why that is, maybe I’m easier to get along with when I have a creative outlet…. I have felt like a soulless gypsy for the last few weeks, floating about not doing or achieving anything. I still cant get into my knitting as much as I would like I seem to defeat myself before I start, at the moment I think the problem is that I have quite a bit of yarn in single balls that I don’t know what to do with, I seemed to amass quite a bit of sock yarn int he hope I was about to become a “sock knitter” but that alas did not come to fruition, so any help on what are good projects for sock yarn would be helpful.
Things I feel like I achieved this weekend:
I finished two pairs of booties,
I re-washed 3 pairs I knitted in December
I blocked my clapotis (don’t look too hard at the picture, my blocking was quick and dirty, but it did the job)
I made some tomato sauce.
I made a decision that I wouldn’t be knitting the SOTS ii, which is a good thing because now i can stop feeling bad about not doing it.
I have picked up and am knitting on the second lego sock (I want to finish this pair this month, which will leave me two pairs left to complete)
